Annabelle B&B Inn has a wonderful commercial you can watch here:

If you didn't already know this, you can experience true Southern Hospitality and grace in this impressive Victorian- Italianate residence built circa 1868 and the charming adjacent 1881 Guest House with it’s fifty-five foot long gallery, which overlooks the sparkling swimming pool, the river valley below and the Louisiana delta across the Mississippi river.

The mansion was built by John Alexander Klein, on his Cedar Grove Estate for his son Madison Conrad Klein. The area which encompasses five of Vicksburg’s most important houses, including Annabelle is know as the Historic Garden District.

And Carolyn still serves her famous Lacy Cookies that you can find in my cookbook along with her recipes for Spinach and Feta Quiche, Fig Cake, and Pecan Pizza.

This room looks perfect for having an afternoon cup of coffee or tea.

Kudos to Boreas B&B Inn

As I was browsing through some of the inns to see if there are any changes or updates to make, I came across some special things to share from the Boreas B&B Inn in Long Beach, WA.

Boreas B&B Inn came in #4 out of 129 from the Evening Magazine "The Best of Northwest Escapes!" Read about it here: NWEscapes

A Youtube of the innkeeper.

Read about the Gray Whales Cruising by Long Beach in her Blog...you don't see that everyday! Also keep up with the blog for upcoming events.

Susie Goldsmith & Bill Verner are still the innkeepers...with so many changes going on these days, this is a big deal.

Wouldn't you love to cook in this kitchen??

You may still order my cookbook to get Susie's amazing recipes: Boreas Lemon Macadamia Nut Bread.Boreas Smoked Salmon & Bagel Strata, Boreas Apple Cinnamon Breakfast Bread Pudding, & Oysters Rockefeller Turnovers.

Inn at Long Lake Closed!

Update on the Inn at Long Lake Bed & Breakfast in Naples, Maine.
Original Post!

A message from the owner: "The Inn at Long Lake is closed. I would like to thank my guests for their support in my years of innkeep-ing at the inn (2003-14). Your patronage has enabled a dear dream of mine to come true. It has been my joy, my privilege, and my honor.
My heartfelt thanks, also, to the citizenry of the Western Maine towns who voted The Inn at Long Lake "Best Hotel/Inn/B&B" for the last 2 years. You've made a good old New England boy very happy in his heart.
My journey in exploring Main Street Home Cooking has not ended---it has only just begun. I believe that hospitality is an ageless gift given within to others. Sharing food with our loved ones is a timeless & beautiful tradition.
I invite you to follow my cooking road ahead on either my INNKEEPERS BLOG through this site or to become a fan of ours on Facebook (The Inn at Long Lake). I look forward to sharing that journey with you!
    My sincere gratitude always,
    Keith A. Neubert"

Sorry to see them close.
