Here's another update, this time on the 1823 Historic Rose Hill Inn! I mentioned before that there are new innkeepers but thought you might like to "meet" them and read an interesting fact.
Meet Alder & Gill Blackburn:
Alder and Gill Blackburn are the new innkeepers at Rose Hill Inn but not new to inns. They
have traveled extensively and stayed at many fine
bed and breakfast establishments all over the USA and Europe
and hope to bring the best of these experiences home to Rose
Hill Inn.
You will soon determine that they were
both born, grew up, educated and married in
England. Alder and Gill (pronounced "Jill")
emigrated to the United States in the mid-1960s and have
lived in a number of locations but mostly in
Columbus, Ohio.
Prior to moving to Versailles they made their home in South Carolina. "We
have fallen completely in love with Kentucky," Gill said, "with
its rich history and beautiful countryside."
And Alder wrote a book!!
And, of course, meet their pets!
